Béarn, enveloped in its unique atmosphere, seduces with its vivid colours, majestic relief, mild climate and the strong character of its people. It’s a land where balance presides over every aspect, creating a rare harmony between nature, people and their traditions.

At the heart of this blessed region, Domaine Camin Larredya is the guardian of this harmony. Under the direction of Jean-Marc Grussaute since 1988, the 9.5-hectare vineyard, certified Agrocert Organic Farming, embodies a passion for quality blends and winemaking.

Petit Manseng, an exceptional variety

In the favourable climate of Béarn, the vineyards have had to adapt to exceptional conditions. That’s why Petit Manseng, a unique grape variety, was chosen to flourish here. Faced with the eruptions of life in the natural environment of Béarn, Petit Manseng has become the protagonist of an exceptional wine story.

Natural balance

Jean-Marc Grussaute is committed to organic farming and obtained Agrocert certification in 2007. His love of the land is reflected in every gesture, as he adopts “earthier” and “more rural” methods. The estate is committed to an approach that respects nature, with vines cultivated in a ‘more garden-like’ way and practices in tune with local biodiversity.

Master of the Jurançon hillsides

The Revue du Vin de France has named Jean-Marc Grussaute “Winemaker of the Year 2023”, describing him as the “master of the Jurançon hillsides”. A former rugby player, he was one of the first to embark on organic farming out of conviction. This recognition is the validation of a long career dedicated to developing and adapting wines to the demands of gastronomy.

The Domaine’s exceptional range

Domaine Camin Larredya offers a range of Jurançon dry and semi-sweet wines of exceptional quality. The cuvées bear evocative names, linked to the plots from which they come, such as La Part Davant, Au capcèu, La Virada and La Costa Blanca. Each of these wines embodies the very essence of the Béarn terroir.

Respect for nature, respect for the wines

Each of the estate’s basic wines reflects our respect for nature. The names of the wines are a tribute to the land where they were born. Passion, dedication and commitment to the cause of the terroir permeate every gesture of the team, creating a family and human dimension to the wine business.
